Also included in Fiskars new line up are their new PowerArc cutting tools. These cutting tools are where Fiskars shines. This is where they have more experience than anyone else and have elevated a simple tool, like scissors, to the next level. They have beefed up their steel blades in order to power through thick materials without the blades separating. Many times when we are out in the field and we encounter a thick material like carpet, cardboard, plastics, or rope where our scissors will typically fail us, we resort to using a utility knife and end up with a wavy cut. These new PowerArc scissors by Fiskars stand up to this test, and the most impressive thing to me is that they still cut even that the tip of the blade i.e. cutting tight zip ties.
